J2 Secures Loudoun County Task Order Roadway and Transportation Design Services Bid
J2 is thrilled to announce that we are selected for our second consecutive Loudoun County five-year on-call roadway and transportation design services contract, supporting the County’s Capital Improvement Program. Notably, we are ranked 1st out of six shortlisted firms and sixteen total proposal submissions. J2 was one of the on-call consultants to Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure from 2015-2020.
“As a long-term resident of the County, I have seen the tremendous growth and changes over the years,” shares Jim Bishoff, principal, J2. “I understand transportation is important to the continued expansion in the region and is critical to the residents of Loudoun County. Our work has a direct impact on our community, and it’s an honor to be one of the County’s consultants. J2 is excited to continue working with DTCI for this contract and future projects.”
Our future work will encompass surveying and roadway design to maintain, improve, or expand the County’s transportation infrastructure. These efforts will include roadway studies and design along with drainage, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, floodplain studies, landscaping, signage and pavement markings, utility design and coordination, surveying and plats, zoning analysis, plan review, value engineering, and public involvement. Local, state and federal funded project types will range from roadway widening and extensions to intersections and pedestrian facilities.
Under our previous Loudoun County roadway on-call contract, we completed several high-profile projects involving significant high-priority safety improvements. Two ongoing standout projects include Evergreen Mills Road/Watson Road Realignment and Route 15 Widening from Battlefield Parkway to Montressor Road.
